Exposure (IN)audible

Update: see photos of the works

A new exhibition will open at Nootoos, 1 place Saint-Pierre le vieux, in Strasbourg.
Travelling, it's exploring, it's telling perceptions and experiences. Exposure (IN)audible reflects a journey within a « pei » (countries in Creole) and « fonnkèr »
(reunion Creole state) via ears of a deaf person since birth. The artist, herself deaf, offers a poetic vision of several paradoxically noisy silent worlds, through the island of Reunion and through her body. The landscapes of La Réunion hide an injury,
that of silence increasingly threatened by parasitic and human noises, while the artist's body is witness to an almost indescribable beauty and violence of sound vibrations, with which she has been living since her childhood.
