There is in the concept of protocol the will of methodical observation based on a set of rules that allow to verify a hypothesis. Sensitive, for its part, is an adjective that describes this fragile and receptive state through which we identify impressions, perceptions. Sensitive Protocols is inspired by the behavior of the sensory, Mimosa pudica, a plant that is described as « shy » since it folds to the least contact. This reaction, explained by science, remains a magical experience. When you touch a sensory, it reacts. This interaction with a life form other than an animal causes the immediate impression of an unexpected encounter. Four artists, Juliette Dennnemont, Stéphane Cise, Mathilde Lauret, Jayce Salez, questioned·These unexpected encounters, these interdependences, these behaviours, these modes of communication, these echoes. Whether they are plant, scab, sunset, air, vibration, silence, water, the elements are part of the world and every human shift influences their existence, and vice versa. This is what artists seek to reveal. In this artistic laboratory, the four creators·of which: — using technologies of the twenty-first century — address the questions of the relationship to the living, the perception of silence, the musicality of the bodies or the mapping of infinitely far away. The four works invite them to take part in the actions they undertake. In this lab, digital often perceived as cold and neutral, becomes the gateway to invisible worlds, points of contact with other universes, immersions in poetry and imagination. Sensitive Protocols, it is a little bit the workshop of artists where the creative process unfolds, where the protocols of works checking that artists are also researchers are presented.·its. Their methods are different, but·e as the other explore possible worlds. When science observes and deduces, the artist perceives and transposes.
